Half of this concert will be dedicated to Thüring Bräm and his musical adaptation of “Letters from Cézanne” for soprano, flute and string trio . In these pieces by the contemporary composer, the sung passages take up the content of the letters written by the painter and are inspired by the multiple variations of his Montagne Sainte-Victoire as a tribute to the one who, even today, makes his city shine through the surprising modernity of his brush. These “Letters” will be surrounded by pieces by the same composer and others, written by Hungarian composers from the beginning of the 20th century.
