On the programme: simple explanations, entertaining stories and fun activities to make each piece accessible and exciting. All led by a duo of baroque violin and theorbo.
Stops on this treasure map include the most beautiful and curious pages from all over Europe (and beyond!) from the 17th century: from H.I.F. von Biber's sonata representing all the animals, to the dances of Playford and Lully, via the famous melodies of Falconiero and Merula, to the more sophisticated music of these great explorers of harmony.
