All you had to do was push open the door of Gottfried Zimmermann’s coffee house to join music-lovers – and those in search of more earthly fare – who had come to hear the Collegium Musicum directed by Georg Philipp Telemann or Johann Sebastian Bach.
Slip onto one of the benches and listen as flutes, violins, cello and harpsichord join in lively concert in the works of the two most celebrated directors of Monsieur Zimmermann’s concerts!
