À propos de l'événement

From the very first notes of the Sinfonia from Bajazet, which opens the night, we are whisked away to the 1735 carnival in Verona, where the opera was played for the first time. Frenetic rhythms and bold melodies reveal themselves to us for our greatest joy.

Countertenor Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian, one of the brightest young talents of our time, excels in the interpretation of the arias, which he brings to life with rare precision. The genius of Vivaldi is also highlighted by the soloists of Café Zimmermann, who shine with virtuosity in three concertos, for violin, flute, and two horns.

The arias and concertos face each other like masks, moving from one emotion to another : power, serenity and sometimes just a bit of lightness…
