Our projects
Renowned for its interpretation of the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, our ensemble has persisted since its birth in its desire to bring it to life and update it, firstly by putting it in touch with its contemporaries through daring and coherent, then by weaving bridges between eras to explore their heritage, finally by remaining in search of new sources which would shed light on our understanding. To play is to seek, to break down barriers, to approach modestly the central point, to start again.
Recently, other disciplines have been integrated into our projects. Creations are thus born at the intersection of several arts which serve each other and baroque expressiveness.
A season?
Madrigals by Carlo Gesulado staged with soprano Claire Lefilliâtre and actor Raül Iaïza, specialist in poor theater.
New ? From Vivaldi!, a unique program both in terms of the sources used for the interpretation and in the works covered by countertenor Paul-Antoine Bénos-Djian.
The imaginary music book of JS Bach , our latest CD which received five stars from Classica and five Diapason from the eponymous magazine.
